I know you have seen in countless other presentation/training documentation that brains will melt out of ears when subjected to looking at slides that contain nothing but text. Adding some visual interest will not only save the brain, but can aid in the comprehension of what it is you are trying to present.
The (good) use of images is one way to spice up a presentation. But what if you're not a photographer, can't draw or don't know the difference between hi-key and low-key? A post on the Presentation Zen site, "Where can you find good images?" has a bunch of great lists of different sites where you can get images to use. Check them out!
